The Best Five Android Apps for College

I am in college and have tried many android apps out. These are a few of the android apps which have given me the experience when it comes to taking note, working on papers, saving information without a USB drive. Check out these apps along with other reviews. There are also links to direct you to the app in the Google Play Store.

I must let you know that I am an avid android user, it's all I use all the time. I have both a tablet and a phone. If you don't have a tablet or smartphone yet and you want the ability to transfer data easily. Ensure that they both have the same operating systems. What I mean is, if you have an android phone then get an android tablet also. If you have an iPhone then get the iPad.

Kingsoft Office is the best word processor out there. It gives you all the things you need to write a paper. The best part about this android app is that it is FREE. I use this for those times when I am in between classes and have a little time to work on a paper. It also saves the files in formats which is easily transferable to your laptop or desktop. You can also email a document, but there are better storage and cloud apps out there. One more thing the app is very easy to use. I think there might be a paid key for it, but I don't see a need to buy it.

Old Faithful, when I wash, drop, throw away, lose, and all other things that I do to my USB drives. I always ensure that I back up my files onto Dropbox.com. I haven''t lost anything yet, also there is an option to collaborate on files with others, but I never used it.
As someone who is going to college for electronics, I highly suggest this app. you get 2.25GB of free space. Which is more than likely enough, but the down side to this is if you need more you can always buy more.

Box is another storage app which also allows for collaboration. This app give you up 50GB for free. I am fairly new to this, but from what I can tell it is pretty much the same as Dropbox only with more space. It also has a more user-friendly layout.

This app, DioPen, takes a lot of heat, but it does work. I have had the app myself for a while. I think it is one of those learning apps so it takes time to get how you write. Once it's got it, it's got it. I use it for note taking purposes only. When it comes to blogging or writing full length papers or articles, it is not best. This does cost money, when I bought it it cost $9.99, I think it might be as high as $11.14 now. One other thing, this app works best on tablets.

Here is a link to Notepad Stacks Better Notebook and this is one of the best android apps ever. The reason I say this is, it is highly organized. It gives you labels, and under the labels there are notebooks and inside those notebooks there are pages. I am not sure how else to put it. These pages of course are one long continuous page or tasks. The app is bland, but the app is extremely effective. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for a truly effective app. There is a paid version to this app, but I use the free version and it works great for me. Make sure to check this one out!
