Confessions of a newbie...

I am a new to this whole writing on-line concept. I am researching it, because I am wondering if it is viable source of income. First, I enjoy writing, I enjoy doing all the research and everything else that comes along with it. So, I am not in it for the money. If I were I would publish 20 Hubs a day. I say all of this to make this one single point. IT IS A LOT OF WORK (not yelling just emphasizing the point).

For any new person out there that might come across this hub, I say to you, I hope you are in it because you like writing because, IT IS A LOT OF WORK!(still not yelling just emphasizing). It is not an easy thing that these people do. Making money on-line.

Congratulations, are in order here, because you have turned this into a source of income. I actually joined Hubpages, because I saw it on Monster.com. I have never heard of the site before then. So, yes I did join because of money, but I have found that people on here are very helpful. This also turns out to be a pretty cool place to write hubs. I guess, I should say thank you for all the hard work that you have put in on writing Hubs that help people like me out.

I wish you luck, it looks like it will be a long hard road. It will probably be extremely tasking just to ensure that we are not making too many mistakes in our hubs. We (as in us newbies), need to PUT IN A LOT OF WORK (once again not yelling just emphasizing the point). This seems to be one of the main keys to write.

I have also read a couple of things and it seems that I or we (depending on the reader) are going to make a couple of mistakes. Which is alright, according to the things that I have read. So I do not expect to make millions over night, or even a million at all according to these things. Hubpages makes you a residual income. (Just to let you in on a secret, I still don't know what that phrase means. I guess that it is superfluous money. I don't know), I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not the smartest person, I'm just learning new stuff all the time.

I congratulate you also! You have managed to put out quality work over and over again that people enjoy reading. I was nervous before publishing the two hubs that I have written, you have managed to publish hub after hub to such a great audience. That alone is enough to make me nervous, but I guess it takes time to do it and one day I will get there.Hopefully.

I am writing this hub, as a newbie so that one day I can look back at it and say. "I didn't know what I was doing back then, and look at me now, I still don't know what I'm doing." These are just some of the thoughts that went on as I was doing research. It is hard to find a job, especially if I keep missing emails for interviews for position openings.
